• • 🔆 Start early in the morning and descend to the Judean Desert
  • Via the Baptism site on the Jordan River.
  • Visit Qumran and overview the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.
  • Drive to Masada National Park. Learn about the history of Masada, including the Siege of Masada by the Romans in 73 CE. Take the cable car or hike up the Snake Path to the top of Masada. Explore the ancient fortress, including the palace, bathhouses, and synagogue. Enjoy views of the Dead Sea and surrounding desert from the top of Masada.
  • Optional: Visit the Masada Museum, which has exhibits on the history and archaeology of the site.
  • Drive to the Dead Sea and have the opportunity to float in its unique and therapeutic mineral-rich waters. At -400m below sea level. The lowest place on earth.
  • Have lunch.
  • Drive back to Jerusalem with an overview of Jericho. * Optional: Enjoy a camel ride in the Desert.

⚠️ When visiting the Dead Sea, it is recommended to wear the following: Swimwear: It is recommended to wear a swimsuit or swim trunks for comfort and ease of movement in the water. ⚠️ Footwear: It is best to wear waterproof sandals or shoes that can be easily slipped on and off, as the salt and minerals on the shore can be harsh on your feet.
